Play therapy provides children with a safe and supportive way to express thoughts and feelings that they may not yet have the words to communicate.
Through play, children can work through challenges, develop emotional awareness, and build confidence in themselves. Jennifer creates a calm, trusting environment where children feel understood, supported, and free to express themselves at their own pace.
How Play Therapy Helps
Play therapy can support children experiencing:
- Anxiety and worry
- Emotional regulation difficulties
- Grief and loss
- Separation or family changes
- Social challenges
- Low self-confidence
- Behavioral challenges
- Life transitions
How Play Therapy Works
Play therapy allows children to express themselves naturally through toys, art, storytelling, and imaginative play. These tools help children explore feelings, process experiences, and develop healthier ways of coping.
Jennifer works at the child’s pace, creating a supportive relationship that helps the child feel safe, understood, and empowered.
Parent involvement and guidance are included as appropriate to support the child’s progress.
